The latest release for ACTIVEWorks Endurance is the all new Credit Balance.
Organizations now have the ability to offer refunds to customers in the form of an account balance instead of refunding back to a debit/credit card. This allows customers to receive a form of “store credit” with your organization in the case of cancellation. Benefits for the Credit Balance include:
- Ability to make a full or partial refund to a customer’s account
- Customers can use their credit balance towards future purchases with your organization
- View and report on issued credits
- Customers can view their credit balances in MyEvents
While the Credit Balance feature was designed to act as an alternative for customers, the new feature also benefits organizations. Event cancellations, or requested participant deferrals are increasingly common, especially in a COVID-19 environment. Having clear refund policies are critical to protecting your business and consumers. By utilizing the credit balance feature, you are able to retain the cash you’ve already collected thereby protecting your cash flow and bottom line while maintaining fairness to your customers.
