The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment is automating its hunting, trapping and angling licensing system through our ACTIVE Works® Outdoors solution to make getting outdoors even easier!“Our province has some of the best fishing and hunting opportunities in the world and automating the licence issuance system will help to make the experience even better,” Environment Minister Ken Cheveldayoff said.Saskatchewan issues more than 170,000 hunting and 185,000 angling licenses each year and the demand from constituents to update the licensing process in the province was great."ACTIVE Network offers us enterprise-level management of licensing processes with the added benefits of centralized reporting and the ability to process payments quickly,” added Cheveldayoff. “The deployment of an automated licensing system is an important step toward driving our growth agenda, and we believe will significantly benefit both our license issuers and citizens.”By automating their systems, the Ministry can help improve revenue collection, game harvest reporting, centralized program reporting and administration, customer service and more.Steve Connolly, SVP of Outdoors at ACTIVE Network noted that “harnessing this technology will help allow the Ministry to gain greater efficiency and cost savings, enabling them to better focus on their constituents and provide easier access to the outdoors.”Want to learn more?
